New Technologies for Restoring Dental Implants

Speaker: Steve Kauffmann, DDSS

Steve Kauffmann is a Digital Dentistry Sales Specialist for Zimmer Biomet Dental. He is a graduate from the United States Naval Academy and served in the US Navy for six and half years aboard the USS OGDEN (LPD 5) and USS BUNKER HILL (CG 52). He has been in the dental field for eight years with Zimmer Biomet as a Territory Sales Representative, Regenerative Portfolio Ambassador and most recently as a Digital Dentistry Sales Specialist. During this time, he has focused specifically on the support of clinicians in the use of different dental technologies and protocols. These programs focus on full arch rehabilitation, occlusion, implementing digital technologies, and practice productivity. He currently lives in Stow, Ohio with his wife, Kim, and two stepdaughters, Ella and Jillian.

Topic:
This program will review recent advances in computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) in implant dentistry and explore the possibilities offered by Bellatek and a fully digital approach, eliminating the need for implant-level impressions while delivering an anatomically precise restoration for Zimmer Biomet Implant Systems.

At the completion of the program, participants will learn:

  • Final Restorative Options for Dental Implants
  • The benefits of using Encode® healing abutments
